if you have hardisk 1tb you want to have partition or not??

hi all i have some question uhm if you have hardisk 1 tb you want to have 2 partition on your hardisk or not???

If you want any sortof back up to same hard disk, create two partitions, else just leave it as a single one, at least that's what I do.

i usually leave it a single one. Unless you are gonna connect it to something really old like a computer running windows 98 or something one partition is fine.

This is a matter of taste and philosophy
However, there is something to consider
If this 1tb hd is your only hd, then I would partition it to isolate your os and progs from your data. In the event of a reinstall of the os/reimaging, your data does not need to be backed up.
Otherwise, there is no need to partition
Of course, there are those who enjoys multibooting in which case it might behoove them to create multiple partitions to accomedate the miriad of os's out there.

i think like this cause if have 2 partition is look like have a little free space
